This painting ‘Acceleration’ is not only based on life’s fast pace but what is beneath all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This is represented by the eye-catching colours popping through the deep purple. 
As an abstract artist with a background in textile design I focus on colour, texture and proportion. 
I limit myself to a minimal colour palette and work very quickly which allows me to express my creativity to it’s full potential.
The tactile, heavy texture is intended to make people want to touch it and connect with the art.
